Halloween Inspo -- Kate Moss

Halloween Inspo (with lingerie & makeup you already own) — Part Two

Edgy eyeshadows, loud leggings, and lacy lingerie — kind of hard to pull off all at once. But Halloween is the perfect opportunity to stretch your imagination and pull out all of the stops from your wardrobe.

Halloween Inspo (feat kate moss)

Halloween Inspo (with lingerie and makeup you already own) — Part One

I always go for Halloween costumes that fit my favorite beauty and fashion trends — it makes it easier to assemble a look. It’s the one holiday where the lesser-seen pieces in your wardrobe — out there accessories, bold makeup looks, and pretty underthings — can finally have their moment. (When in doubt, remember that the hardcore girls just wear lingerie and some form of animal ears.)

If you think about it, models are the perfect icons for Halloween. Who better knows how to play dress up and put on a new identity for a night? This year, I’m exploring fashion editorials and candid personal style images of my favorite top model/chameleon, Kate Moss, to brainstorm ideas for the perfect Halloween costume… featuring items I already own.

From timeless beauties like Marilyn Monroe to cult classic leading ladies like Penny Lane from Almost Famous and Cher & Dionne from Clueless, famous musicians like 90s Madonna, David Bowie & even Kurt Cobain …yep, Kate Moss has emulated all of them, and they’re all perfect Halloween inspo with accessible, everyday pieces (plus those items you never get a chance to wear.)

Monochrome Moodboard - Weekday Wanderlust

Monochrome Moodboard: June 29th

This week’s moodboard is all about moody monochromes and minimal palettes. Others feature just touches of skintone or warm shades of light –like the relflection of Glenn Ligon’s neon text sculpture, which adds depth and warmth to an otherwise grayscale photograph. Enjoy the moody vibes of this week’s monochrome moodboard — happy Monday!
